Dear Prospective Buyer of the Diet and Exercise Private Tutor:

The Healthy U of Delmarva Diet & Exercise Private Tutor is a diet and exercise log that tracks your progress and encourages you to follow a healthy life-style, but it’s wildly more than just that.
The reason-- is the Friendly Computer Tutor (FCT).

The FCT is programmed to care about your progress and for that matter, to care about you. It calls you by name and it rejoices when you do well. By the way, and as you’ll discover, the FCT is a somewhat quirky tutor, and you probably never had a teacher like this when you were a student.

The FCT will encourage you, guide you, tell jokes, sometimes nag you, and generally is there for you. It even has a personality and it has off-duty adventures that it will tell you about, but only as you keep using the program.

If you’re like other users, you may find yourself looking forward to hearing from the FCT. Some users have reported becoming fond of the FCT, and one user even said he felt jealous and pained when the FCT started paying attention to someone else. (Don’t worry, that doesn’t happen often, and may not happen at all if you keep up with the program and don’t slack off.)

One of the more useful parts of the program will not be apparent until you’ve used the program for a week or more. When you’ve been recording information for awhile, you can press buttons in the Graphs Section to see relationships that you may not have expected. A number of people have reported that there’s a relationship between sugar consumption and how they feel the next day. (Others have reported no relationship.) Others have seen a relationship between exercise and energy. The graphs, by the way, do not pretend to be scientific, but even so, you may find the results fascinating.

I hope this program helps and encourages you and maybe gives you that extra little push that it takes to make lifestyle changes. We all know that keeping up with a diet and exercise program is difficult. But the good news is that you don’t have to be perfect. If you exercise just a little more or eat even a little better, you will be doing something really important for yourself, and also for those who care about you, and that includes everyone here at Healthy U of Delmarva.

Enjoy!
