"People
sometimes look at an intricately carved egg like this and notice
all the rhinestone gems that have been put on by hand, and they
ask me how long it takes to make and Eggscape. If I know the
person asking this has a sense of humor, I'll answer with mock seriousness,
'It takes me as long to make one egg as it takes Frank to make twenty
million eggs.'"
"This
answer happens to be accurate, if not exactly helpful. The real
anser is, for an average Eggscape that I'd be willing to display,
it takes about a week. This is not a week of constant work, however.
There are many steps, and often I have to wait for various glues
and paints and glazes to dry."
