The Garden of Weedin' EggTymer™

These clocks do tell time. The trickiest part of making and EggTymer is making it so that you can remove the clock to set it for Daylight Savings Time or to change a battery. It would be easy to glue the clock in, but then it would be telling the wrong time for half of each year. The solution is to carve the opening so exactly that the clock just fits with a tiny, tiny amount of pressure. Too loose and it would fall out; too tight and the shell would crack when you push it in. It's a very delicate balance, but it works.
